How did we come up with this idea?
As friends, André and Hanna visited Cape Town in South Africa and explored local events where we wanted to get to know people. One of those events was called “Friends Who Volley,” where people gathered on the beach, played volleyball, and enjoyed music together. The vibe and the connection we experienced were something we remembered fondly and wanted to bring to Zurich. However, beaches for volleyball-music events in Zurich couldn’t be found. We decided to transform “Volley” to “Rave” but kept the vibe and connection experience.

The Concept
What's the idea behind FriendsWhoRave
FriendsWhoRave is not only our DJ-Duo Name, at the same time it is our initiative to connect with friends and bring friends together. Our purpose is to play electronic music as DJs and bring other DJs and friends together in our privately organized events. We hope that everyone can cherish the time together and find unique experiences with us and other people.
